Time to Tidy Up

.
One of the first things that regular readers will notice is that all previous entries have vaporized. It was/is time for a new start with a renewed focus on local issues in and around the city of San Luis Obispo. Slap me if I digress too much in the future.

It had been almost three months since my last entry, and the time during those months that I spent on an extended consulting assignment back within the Beltway dealing with the bandits and the politicians kept me from even thinking about the Central Coast (other than wishing that I'd stayed here -- but I have to be able to feed my family).

Since returning last week and taking a little time to decompress and finish off a few reports, I've had a chance to start catching up on local events. It's great to be home and to be able to enjoy our weather and my favorite beer (while they have some pretty good beers in D.C., none compare with Firestone's Double Barrel Ale as far as I'm concerned).

A great steak during dinner last night with friends up at McPhee's in Templeton has me back in the Central Coast mood, and I like it.

But enough; it's time for a fresh start; so stay tuned, and let's take a look at what's going on.
